Swartberg Pass (27 km) is considered one of the most spectacular mountain passes in the world.
The pass runs on the R328 through spectacular Swartberg Mountain and links Oudtshoorn with Prince Albert and offers spectacular views over the Little Karoo to the south and the Great Karoo to the north.
We travelled through Swartberg Pass a few weeks after a big fire but still the views of mountains, valleys and waterfalls were amazing and really worth taking a drive.
