Dear Friends and Supporters of “Richard’s” and “Kaapse Stories from the Mother City”.
A number of circumstances have lead us to searching for a suitable and upgraded venue to house our dinner show.
We are most excited to announce that the show will move to the “Rockwell Theatre”, which is part of the Rockwell Hotel in Greenpoint, Prestwich Street 32. We shall play the first show there March 2, 2017.
The Rockwell Dinner Theatre is most suitable to house our dinner show and this move brings with it some great enhancements:
More effective air conditioning
Wheel chair friendly
Extra space for comfort
Flexibility for growth
The content of the “Supperstage” will be transferred to the Rockwell Theatre and we are currently planning and contracting the decoration of the Rockwell theatre to guarantee the “Look and Feel” of the current venue.
The Dinner Theatre team and all members of the cast including show Director, the widely acclaimed Basil Appollis will all remain with the show.
This team will be merged with the team of Colin Judin – General Manager of the Rockwell Hotel.
We can assure you that our Award winning show “Kaapse Stories from the Mother City” which has now played for 4 years and 9 months – since June 2012, over a 1000 shows to 120 000 people will continue its tradition of offering the audience an outstanding and memorable experience.
The offering regarding the show and the meal as well as the price point will remain unchanged.
Bus parking is available right in front of the building as well as undercover, secured parking for passenger cars and Kombi’s below the building.
Should you have any questions – please feel free to contact me or my colleague Sher’Neil Savel on 082 997 87 54 or myself on 082 773 46 96.
Thank you for your ongoing support, which has made it possible to create and sustain our dinner show which so proudly shows off, through its authentic direction, the unique talent and cultural history we are blessed with in the Cape.
I am sure that your clients will have, in future, an even greater experience of “Kaapse Stories” in the new venue. We hope to see you soon again at “Kaapse Stories from the Mother City” at “The Rockwell Dinner Theatre”
Best wishes /Roland Seidel
