Whenever you need sometime away and not too far from Cape Town – think of Tulbagh. This beautiful rural village offers magnificent mountain views and scenery, peacefulness and it’s also a great place for those loving outdoor activities, a bit of history or great wines.

Raptor Rise self-catering accommodation is nestled 6km from historic and scenic Tulbagh. Located on a working farm Raptor Rise offers luxurious yet very affordable accommodation.

In offer double rooms, sleepers flat, penthouses and beautiful cottage – all well appointed, neat with everything you need, including fast WI-FI (which was a bonus!)

Our sleepers flat was very clean, with a Queen size extra length bed (very comfortable),  shower/bath and toilet, covered patio with small Weber braai, air-conditioning. Little kitchen includes: fridge, stove, microwave, tea & coffee facilities, toaster. You will also find there towels, beach towels and bathroom amenities.

Sparkling clean pool is amazing on a hot day. We spent hours under umbrellas or in the pool enjoying the views.

Pack your walking shoes and explore the area – walking through vineyards and olive orchards early morning or at sunset is fantastic.

Raptor Rise is perfect for that quick getaway with family or friends. And you can bring your pet with.
