Lover’s Walk & Badskloof Trail in Pictures | Montagu, South Africa

Lover’s Walk in Montagu is a short trail – 500 metres walk along the Keisie River banks. It is nestled below Kanonkop, providing spectacular views through Joubertpark. It starts upper end of Barry Street, and eventually becomes a part of the Badskloof Trail. Badskloof Trail is only 2.2 kilometers and takes you through the mountain & river pass to famous hot springs. It’s a beautiful walk, and it should be on your list to do when visiting Montagu. Swartberg Pass (27 km) is considered one of the most spectacular mountain passes in the world.
